Now before you go off and think that I have become limp-wristed because of this background, I have deliberately chosen it for it's title alone. It is called Opals and Lace and as the Opal is my birthstone I decided to use it here.
I have had access to the internet either through my university or TAFE library since mid 1995. In this time I have met some wonderful people especially since I discovered ICQ (#51515723) over 2 years ago. I have travelled to various parts of Australia to meet some of these friends, while others have come to what I call God's Wonderful Country to visit with me.
Throughout your visit you will find that I can be rather risque, funny or very sensitive depending on the mood I am in. In recent years I have had some major upheaval and there have been times when I felt it would have been so easy to give up, but in true Aussie spirit I have fought on and come out a winner. With the support of great friends both locally and on the Internet I have managed to weather the storm, particularly in recent times when things seemed the blackest. To these friends I have dedicated the music on this page. You can take it from me that no matter how impossible things may seem there is always someone to support you and if, like me, you believe you have a Guardian Angel watching over you, then you will definately never walk alone.
I am a huge fan of Country music hence the Nashville address at GeoCities. Possibly growing up on a farm with parents who liked 'Hillbilly' music infulenced my liking for country music.

Over a good many years I have collected some really beautiful poetry. Here I hope to be able to share some of it with you. I have hundreds of pages of poetry some of which is packed away and hard to locate. But if you are patient I will endeavour to find it and bring it to you.
Over time I have received numerous emails that require that you have a box of tissues close at hand when you read them. I have added them to these pages for your benefit.
I love anything that has something to do with aviation. I don't mean jets either. They remind me too much of when my cats are too slow getting out of my way and I step on their tail. I like the ones that have that big fan spinning in front of you or beside you. This page is still under construction and will be available soon
